All the children with their prayer rocks and desire to be missionaries
A letter from a lady in the ward Aaron is serving in.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Parks,
Hello,
I am Sister Kaori Muto from Japan. Your son is now serving in my ward (Toyama ward). We had a Primary activity in our ward yesterday and invited Elders to tell the Primary childern about missionary works.
We played games, painted on the rocks (prayer rocks) to remind children to pray always. We also made sandwiches together. Elders shared experiences of the missionary works and their testimonies with our Primary children.
Last Sunday in the church meeting, Elder Parks sang a song called "O Lord my Redeemer" and it was very beautiful. There was a lot of Spirit in that meeting.
Your son is doing great here in Toyama. He has been very successful and teaching many investigators. I am very thankful for his hard work and dedication for the Japanese people.
He said he always wanted to be a missionary as a small boy because of the good examples of his parents and his brother.
I have a 7-year-old daughter myself and want to raise her like Elder Parks had been raised. Your son is a great missionary and that's because he has been raised in a good, spiritual home where his family and Christ are always there for him.
I hope you enjoy these photos and see how much he loves his missionary life!
Please take good care and I pray that the Lord alwaysblesses your son and keeps him safe.
Sincerely,
Kaori Muto
Toyama ward, Japan
