Aaron's latest letter March 30, 2009

Hey Family!!
Well dang, it sounds like a pretty amazing weekend took place in Utah! I would have loved to be there for the blessing of xxxxx. I can't wait to meet the little angelic girl!! I have already felt for myself of her specialness through Dad's witness of her special mission. As I read it I was completely overcome with the Spirit of confirmation. I only get that body tingling sensation around spiritual things, and I got it then. I know this family has a very special new member, her name is XXXXX.
Over here in Inuyama we have been blessed with much spirit! Sunday was by far one of the best days in the mission so far! The Yagura family all recieved baptism and I had a special witness of my own that God loves each of them. As I gave my talk, in Portuguese, I was so overcome I could only say one sentence at a time (which was good because the guy had to translate it all into Japanese anyway! haha)
I was able to baptize Janaina and Gabriel and felt so much love for them. As I stood in the water with each of them I again felt special power for each of them and stuttered through tears to say the prayer of baptism. They are a special family aided by God to get them this far. They have worked so hard and I even more know now that God aides us in carrying out His holy work.
It is such a blessing to be a missionary. This past week has really been especially full of the spirit and I know that I am called to the Holy work of Jesus Christ. I have such a strong feeling of the truth of this gospel right now as I write this email and I hope some of that conveys through email to you all.
This truly is the work of the Lord. We have Heavenly parents who aid us always. The spirit is within each of us and truly guides our way. Through Joseph Smith, all truth way once again restored to the Earth and we are the beloved benefactors that sacred experience. And furthermore, I get to share that to the people of Japan!
I know you can all feel of this for yourselves. Please strive to do so and always remember you have a loving Heavenly Father.
This is my witness of truth and it is in the name of Jesus Christ.

Aaron's letter from March 23, 2009...just taking the time now to post it...

Hey Family!
Well this week has truly been amazing! We have found the greatness of phillipines lately and now have three of them as investigators! We have been finding like crazy lately through member help and connections! It truly is amazing how the Lord prepares a way for all to come into the fold. I am always in awe at the power and truth of our Heavenly Father. He truly manifests His hand often and recognizes our dedication to the work. I am so happy and feel so blessed to be in His holy service as an ambassador of Chirst!
We have the baptism of our Brazillian family of four this Sunday and I am way excited to partake of the goodness. These people have worked so hard to stop smoking and prepare for the gospel. They will be great additions to the family! The service is at 12 30 right after church. A ten minute walk from the inuyama eki! You are all invited! haha.
Well that's about all for this week, we need to scoot. But I truly know this church is the living church of Christ. We are extremely blessed to be apart of it and have so much potential for greatness. Never forget whose side we are on and to tell everyone about it!
I love you all and wish you the best in the endeavors of life!

One of the hardest things to do when we leave is to say good-bye...

We left Idaho on Wednesday to head back to ABQ, NM... We stopped to have Maddox chicken with the grandkids and their mom before heading onto SLC, Utah

We had a blast having lunch with the grandkids...the grandson was a pro taking our picture before we left...

Taiko and Sassy love being at grandma's house...after running around and saying hi to both of them and all the kids, they settled in for a nap...

Tuesday, March 24, 2009 Steve and I went to the Twin Falls, Idaho temple. We had a great time...

We stopped in Brigham City at the Flying J to see my brother, Doug and to chat for a few...

My brothers...Mike and Garth came over with their families to eat, visit and just have some fun...

We walk into Pat and Glen's home and smelled some really good stuff that she had made. We love coming home and eating all her fabulous food...

Mom had homemade rolls and bread...BBQ and potato salad, roast and mash potatoes and gravy, fresh veggies, green salad and fresh fruit and cake...everyone totally enjoyed their favorites...

After the blessing activities we loaded up the car and headed to Idaho and Mitch and Brooke headed back to Vegas...this is the weather we ran into...

We left 80 + degree weather and had low 70's in Utah and then we ran into a snow storm in Snowville, Utah and Sweetzer Pass...It was not suppose to be winter break, but spring break...The Robins were still having a great time on the back lawn at my parents home and in the tree by the back of their home...
