Hey All!
(Well not all, just the ones that emailed this week)
So for the weeks news...A couple of times a week we do something called kanbarikai where we go to the eki (train station) and hand out chidashis (pamphlets) about our english class (eikaiwa). That is way awesome! The two times we have done it we have given away loads! So, hopefully, more people will start coming!
I got my bike Friday night and so got to dendo with it Saturday and i love it!! I had to get a kick stand for it and then bought a little set of alan wrenches to be able to maintain it!! The bike guy here knows the missionaries and is way cool.
So far, everyday we have biked, except the first, it has rained. At first i didn't like it at all, but then i realized hey, it:s not that big of a deal. Its just a little extra moisture and then sweating doesn't seem so bad either when you are already wet. So that is pretty fun!!
Last week we took the light rail train up to the area by the beach and go to look over the ocean before we dendoed. It was awesome!! I didn't have my camera since my card was in the mail, but when we go back next time, pics for sure!! It was way pretty and looked just like the one we went to that one time when i got 2nd degree burns in Tokyo, good times!
Oh, another thing with the biking dendo, my toosh had to get re into the whole thing. The first two days, sitting was wicked bad. We are all good now, but that was a little mission exp.
I officially bought my first 100 Yen ties!! The 100 yen stores here are great and so i had to partake of the goodness!! Definitely a great price range for my missionary wallet.
We also took our first purikura:s!! Those picture from the booths that you can then write on and deck out with all kinds of cool stuff. Way fun!
So our investigators, Yoshiki san, Takahatta san, and Shimatori san are way awesome!! Last night we got Yoshiki, who has been *investigating* for 7 years!, to commit to read Alma 32 and then take Moroni's promise. He has a testimony, just like his cigarettes. So we will be changing a few things in the near future!!
Takahatta and Shimatori are awesome ladies who are progressing nicely and are way fun to talk to!! So, hopefully within the next little while, we will be having some baptisms!!
The thing now is to find new investigators, that:s the hard part!!
Always be conscience of the missionaries in your area and giving them referrals, those are the best when you have member support!
Well i would like to leave with a scripture...2 Nephi 22:2-3...
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and be not afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.
3 Therefore, with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.Christ really is our atoning older brother! He overcame all so that we can always be happy and receive strength.
Always remember that and always know that anything is possible with the Lord on your side. As long as we are doing our part, He is there!!
I love you all so much and wish you the best!
The church is true!!

Hey! Make sure you ask Elder Park to look for the Elder Stevenson. He a member of the first quorum of the 70 stationed in Japan. He is my cousin. Elder Stevenson and his wife Lesa are really nice.
Marcie
I'll make sure of it.
Great to hear from you.
hope all is going well.
