Niece's sister, Darlene just let us know that everyone that was at the hospital last night was able to go back and see Janiece. Hopefully, the breathing tube will come out today and they will have her up and walking tonight. They all said she "LOOKED GREAT"...What fabulous news and what miracles and answer to prayers we have seen...
Our thoughts and prayers are also going out to the donor's family...

Prayers and thoughts are with Janiece...
I called Darlene, Janiece's sister, and asked if I could use this picture...she told me to go ahead...she took it from their brother, Rowland...thanks for sharing...This is my dear friend, Janiece...she has been on the heart transplant list for a few months now...she called last night at 8:33 to let me know that she was on her way to the hospital to receive her new heart.
They decided to wait to do the surgery until noon today so they could find a match for the lungs...
I spoke with Janiece this morning and she was calm and happy...she said Kirk and her kids with her...she told me life was just good...
so...Janiece went back to the OR at 3:00 to prep her for surgery...the surgery began at 4:45 and will last for 5-8 hours....
Please keep her, her family, the doctors, nurses and the donor's family in your prayers...
