Aaron's letter 1-26-09

haha way to go amanda with the grades!! and congrats on the braces! that will be good and she is at a good age for them too!
i love the benefits of mine everyday!

yeah koyama choro has been a great elder! i do love the area but at the same time, want to go somewhere else...Toyama does, however, have the best ward in Japan! haha,
so i will miss that too.
have you sent the other package yet? i was wanting some more brown sugar if you could send some..... and maybe peanut butter...

Holy Cow Kira is already coming home!!!! Wow! Crazy
Our investigator is doing great!!! She is so ready and is just getting the nervous jitters...like the question *well when i come out of the water won:t it be cold?* haha she is so good!

Hey All!
Well finally I have time to write this!
Things have been continuing awesomely here in Toyama, rounding on month 6! Our investigator, Sakabayashi San, is doing great and ready for her Friday baptism! She is so good and ready to be a member. She came to church on Sunday and just look liked on of the gang. We were so happy! Also, with the baptism, I am getting to perform it and Koyama choro will confirm her on Sunday! So I am getting all ready for that and the excited nerves are just a goin! I am also singing Jesus Was No Ordinary Man in Japanese for the service. So, that should be fun.
So, for the spiritual news...lately I have been doing a 40 days of purity program where basically you pick items in your life that could be hindering from the spiritual fulness or just want to improve and then *fast* from them for 40 days. I have been now waking up at 5, eating no chocolate, and then some other things as well. But, the amazing thing is the spirit! I can't say I am just being carried around Toyama on a spiritual cloud but I can say I have felt His power more! I have noticed His presence on door approaches and have felt His help in testimony. I can for even more sure say that we have a loving Heavenly Father who knows our needs. Anything we do our part and ask Him for help on His part, help comes!! It is a true principle of power!
Well thats about all for this time.. Not too long but it gets the point across, that being that the CHURCH IS TRUE!!
I love you all and hope you continue to feel of that good sweet spirit of the Lord!

ps. you are all still invited to the baptismal service...friday and 7 pm
