Steve is ready to go pick up all the other Beehives for their first year at girls camp...
Amanda was so excited and half the back of the suburban is hers...she prepared for the other Beehives since she is the only one that has camped before...

There were 10 girls from our ward at camp this year...and 2 leaders and 1 priesthood leader...Leah, Leah, Katelyn, Amanda, Bonnie and
It started raining at 3:00am and didn't stop the entire trip up to camp. It was a 3 1/2 hour car ride to the camp site...It rained so hard the 4th year girls that went up the night before got totally wet...their tents, sleeping bags and everything in their tents were so wet...Steve and I helped the girls set up camp. There were only 3 girls that had camped before...So setting up camp in the rain was not an easy thing...but the girls got in and helped get everything up and ready to go...I sent up lots of games to play just incase they had to spend some time in their tents due to the rain...

Beehives tent...their supply tent and the other girl's tents were all together. The leaders tents were closer to the fire.

The Biffy...

Amanda's levis on the line drying out...It rained the first two days at camp and then it turned out really nice. We were at 9,000 ft elevation so it didn't get above 72 degrees the entire time and did get as low as 33 degrees at night...

Amanda came home from camp with a smile on her face and was so excited...The leaders put together a wonderful camp and the girls really enjoyed. It was an experience that Amanda is looking forward to another year. I had a hard time with her being gone. It was so quiet around the house, but I knew she would totally love it.

What a beautiful place to go camping. It looks like she had loads of fun. It's funny that half the things in the Suburban were hers.
